The Nebraska LTAP has a contract with vtc.com to provide online computer classes and tutorials to our clients employed by local public agency and the state as a part of our Workforce Development Program. VTC offers thousands of computer courses on many software applications. Their entire catalog is available at https://www.vtc.com/showall.htm. A few courses we have selected that might interest you include:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Power Point
To take a course, please complete our request form. Upon receipt of the form, an LTAP staff member will email you log-on information. If you do not have an email address, it is OK to use the department's email as long as the person who reads the email is aware you are doing so and will share the log-on information with you.
You are free to take as long as you need to complete the course. We ask that you complete the form each time you want to take a new course in case the log-on information has changed.
Our contract allows for unlimited access by up to five users at a time. If it happens that five users are already logged into the system, you may have to wait for a space to become available later in the day or another day.
Because of the shared user account system, please do not personalize the profile. Also, more than one person may be taking the same class with the same user name. Keep some notes about which sections you have watched/completed. If you complete a course, please print any certificate or notice of completion that you get as it may not be available electronically later.
Upon completion of the course, please complete the online evaluation.
